AI dental scribe · voice perio charting

Charting that writes itself. You sign off.

One ambient recording becomes the clinical note, the perio chart, and the referral letter, drafted for your review. Molaris never finalizes a record on its own.

Every account is set up personally. One 15-minute call, we configure your practice, templates, and Open Dental, then hand you the keys. 14-day free trial, no card.

01, The platform

Three documents. One recording. Zero evenings lost.

Molaris is built for the operatory, not the boardroom: it understands anesthetic carpules, surface codes, and probing depths, and writes them where they belong.

A, SCRIBE

The clinical note

An eleven-section note assembled from the appointment itself, chief complaint through post-op instructions, in your templates and your voice.

B, PERIO

Voice perio charting

Call depths as you probe and the chart fills itself, pockets, bleeding, recession. A full-mouth chart without borrowing an assistant.

C, LETTERS

Referral letters

A specialist-ready letter drafted from the same visit, findings, radiographs taken, reason for referral, before the patient reaches the front desk.

02, How it works

You talk to your patient. That's the whole workflow.

No dictation grammar to learn, no foot pedals, no "computer, new paragraph." Molaris listens to the appointment you were already having.

You're a dentist, not a stenographer.

01

Record the visit

Tap record on any device, suction and handpieces won't derail the entry. Perio mode picks up called depths as you probe.

02

Review the draft

The note, chart entries, and letters draft themselves while you finish up. Everything waits in your review queue, nothing files itself.

03

Sign off & sync

Approve with one click and Molaris writes it back to Open Dental, the chart you already use, under your signature.

03, Watch it draft

AI drafts. You sign. Every note defensible.

This is a real Molaris draft structure, the same eleven sections your malpractice carrier wishes every office wrote. Watch it assemble, then try it yourself in the live demo.

04, Perio charting

A perio chart that fills itself while you probe.

Six sites a tooth, thirty-two teeth, both arches, the chart your hygienist currently types one cell at a time, done by the time the probe leaves the sulcus.

“Three, four, five… bleeding on the distal.”

— that's it. That's the interface.

  • Pocket depths, BOP, recession, mobility, called naturally, charted instantly
  • No assistant needed, a hygienist charts a full mouth solo
  • Writes back to Open Dental after you approve, never before

MOLARIS · REFERRAL DRAFTRE: PERIODONTAL EVAL

Dear Dr. Vasquez,

I am referring my patient for periodontal evaluation of the upper right quadrant. Probing today shows 5–6 mm pockets at #2 and #3 with bleeding on probing at the distal sites, despite consistent home care and a 4-month recall interval.

Full-mouth radiographs and today's complete perio chart are enclosed. Please advise on grafting candidacy; I will manage restorative follow-up on our end.

— drafted from the visit, signed by you

05, Letters & referrals

The referral letter is done before the patient checks out.

Molaris drafts specialist letters from the same visit recording, the findings you actually said, the chart it actually built, no Friday-night letter pile. Review, sign, send.

  • Consistent with the chart, the letter cites the same numbers the perio chart recorded
  • Your letterhead, your sign-off, nothing leaves the office without you

06, Templates

Your templates, your voice.

Start from proven note structures for the visits you see every day, then edit any of them until they sound like you wrote them. Because after review, you did.

07, Why offices switch

Built for the office of one to ten chairs, priced like it.

Transparent pricing

$179.

On the page, not behind a quote. Every plan includes everything: notes, perio, referral letters, patient forms with e-signatures, Open Dental sync. The only variable is AI hours.

Hardware required

$30.

Any microphone you already own, a lapel mic, a webcam, the laptop itself, works today. No proprietary hardware, no install visit.

Per-seat fees

Zero.

One price per office, not per provider. Your hygienists, associates, and front desk are all covered by the same plan.

08, Security

Patient data handled like it's radioactive.

Plain answers to the questions your office manager will actually ask, no glowing badges, no vague promises.

  • Encrypted in transit and at rest. Audio and notes are encrypted end to end; access is scoped to your practice only.
  • Signed BAA required before any real patient data. We don't let PHI into a production account until the paperwork protects you.
  • You are the final authority on every record. Drafts stay drafts until you sign; every approval is attributed and auditable.
  • Deletion on request. Ask us to delete your data and we do, recordings, transcripts, and drafts included.

09, Pricing

Pay for the AI time you use. Everything else is included.

Notes, perio, letters, and Open Dental sync on every plan. No per-provider, per-install, or per-product fees.

What's an AI hour? One hour of recorded appointment audio. A typical visit uses 20–40 minutes, so 15 AI hours ≈ 25–45 visits, about one part-time chair.

Questions dentists ask us

Does it work with my practice management system?

Molaris is built Open Dental–first: approved notes and perio charts write back to the patient record automatically. On other PMS platforms you can copy finished notes over while we expand integrations.

Is recording patients legal? Do they need to consent?

Consent rules vary by state, many are one-party, some require all-party consent. Most offices add one line to their intake forms and a short chairside mention. We provide a patient-consent template during setup.

Do I get a BAA?

Yes, a signed BAA is required before any real patient data enters a production account, on every plan. We won't let you skip it.

What hardware do I need?

Any microphone you already own. Offices typically use a $20–40 lapel or conference mic per operatory. There's nothing proprietary to buy or install.

What happens if I run out of AI hours?

Molaris warns you before you run out. You can add 10 hours for $79 or 25 for $179, or upgrade tiers, no mid-month surprises, and nothing records without telling you.

Can I cancel anytime?

Yes. Monthly plans cancel at the end of the billing period, no calls required. Your data remains exportable, and we delete it on request.

10, The point

The last patient leaves. So do you.

One 15-minute call, we set up your whole practice for you, and your evenings are back by the end of the week. 14-day free trial, no card.
